  • Applicant Interviews; Essays. The project committee may, but is not required, to interview Scholarship applicants, and may require candidates to submit essays on the topic specified on the application form.
  • Objective Criteria. The project committee may consider only the following objective criteria in selecting Scholarship recipients:
    • Spiritual standing and commitment to the Christian race;
    • Commitment to the local assembly and The Apostolic Church Cameroon doctrine;
    • Personal statement with the three questions below clearly and elaborately answered;
      • Describe how you gave your life to Jesus Christ.
      • Why you need financial support for University or professional study and
      • How your chosen course will help you achieve your goal
    • Recommendations from Elders, Deaconesses or Deacons in Church;
    • Conclusions that the project committee members draw from all the above criteria and from essays, or from other written materials submitted in the application process that demonstrate the applicant’s motivation, character, ability, and potential; and

The project committee shall apply the criteria in a reasonable and objective manner. However, the project committee is not required to place the same weight upon each criterion for each candidate, and need not determine that all criteria exist for each candidate.
